Tea is simple and so is making a cup of tea! In the previous article on the science of a cup of tea, we talked about Fire, as one of the pillars to make a perfect cup of tea.
Purity has to do with maintaining the correct temperature of the water when you are going to make an infusion of black tea or a tisane.
For this, it is recommended to preheat the kettle where you are going to infuse the tea so that the correct temperature of the water is maintained. The infusion will not get the best out of the tea strands, especially if your teapot is made of porcelain or glass, which usually absorbs the temperature of the water you are placing and if the water does not have the correct temperature. Therefore, our tea will not taste as good as we expect.
So, if the quality of the strands is important and the temperature too, you have to take care of all the details so that the temperature is maintained.
Of course, but how do we define quality in a cup of tea? What characteristics must the water have to meet the requirements of a perfect cup of tea?
I invite you to pay tribute to it every time you make a cup of tea, doing it with good technique is for sure one of the best ways. If you want to know about the water you should use in your infusions, I invite you to visit the post about Water.
